Located in the peaceful South Leicestershire countryside, come and experience the delight of farm life spanning five generations! Supporting our rare and native breeds is a real passion project. Saving rare breeds is important for our food supply, genetic diversity, and adapting to future environmental changes. By supporting their survival we help to ensure a healthy and sustainable future for ourselves and generations to come. Of course, it helps that they are really cute… our lovely Greyface Dartmoors’ look like teddy bears, and who can resist the hop and skip of a baby goat! The best part of visiting Windmill Farm Park is getting to experience our fantastic range of animal activities. They allow you to get up close and personal with some of our favourites and ask our knowledgeable farmers any questions. Our activities are chosen around two main purposes, learning where our food comes from and creating animal enrichment. You can collect eggs from our chickens, watch or have a go at goat milking, join in with goat racing or guinea pig fishing, meet our smaller animals in the cuddle corner, and of course, enjoy a tour of the farm on our summer tractor ride. https://windmillfarmpark.co.uk/
