About 1620s House & Garden
Visitors can explore a house furnished in early 17th-century style, guided by knowledgeable volunteers who bring the stories of former residents to life. The gardens are laid out in period style with fully labelled trees and plants, offering genuinely interesting reading for garden enthusiasts and families alike. The Old Barn Tearoom serves homemade cakes, soup and drinks between 11am and 4pm, and there is a small gift shop on site. Regular events include live lute music, family activity hunts and evening concerts, making it worth checking what is on before you visit.
