About National Space Centre
Visitors can explore interactive galleries covering everything from rocket science to deep space, catch a free planetarium show on their first visit, and discover the UK's space heritage. The centre regularly adds new experiences, such as the Outer Solar System exhibition, and runs themed events including adults-only evenings and quiet days for those who prefer a calmer visit. As an educational charity, the National Space Centre puts all its income back into its collection and science programmes. There are dedicated sessions for home-educated families, younger children on Small Space Days, and an online Space Club for curious seven to eleven year olds.
